Default My surplus tackle & box - what to do?

I've been streamlining my tackle for a while and have a bunch of surplus tackle including a tackle box to house it all. Most of it is odds and ends, but it makes a reasonably complete kit. Some of it is still in the packaging (things I acquired and thought I would use or things that were gifted to me and elected not to use). A few things are ancient relics of tackle handed down to me by my dad and may have no value at all.

Anyway, I'd like to give it away to someone who will appreciate it and use it. Maybe a kid starting out? Not sure what the criteria should be or if there should even be a criteria at all. I will post a picture of the gear tomorrow, in the meantime I will open a discussion about how I should go about giving this away.

There was an outdoor education teacher collecting fishing gear last year to use on camping/fishing trips with students. Seemed like a good idea.

Yup, that would be good. Any idea of who it was?

Yeah, photos of their adventure would be great. I've become more of a fishing lure collector than a fisherman since I've had kids. Just being able to see people enjoying the sport brings joy to me. That's ultimately what I hope to achieve with giving this away.

A view of the tackle. There are a few things not shown that I will include like a bag of assorted bare hooks (some mustad, some eagle claw). The reel in the bottom is an ABU and I don't know the condition. I also have a Shimao 4000 reel that will be included and I potentially have some other odds and ends to chuck in.

Find some fishing pond close by next year, and give it to some kid that's standing on the bank,, that will make his summer..

Side note. I gave a remingron 12 gauge a few years ago to someone on this site that had a nephew that was just starting out and his parents didn't have much... It was an extra extra gun for me.. I asked for a simple picture of the kid using it.. never received that picture,, about a month later that same person had a very very very similar 12 gauge for sale on gunnutz....
