Went to the paediatric allergy doc on Monday for son's yearly lung function test. Doing better than ever. Upgraded to mildly asthmatic. No longer allergic to dogs and cats. Wife no longer has strong objections to us getting a hunting dog, and she even wants to go out to Densa44's place to see his new pups. Looking forward to the day I can take out some AO members without dogs, just as Densa & Elk did for me and my son.

Lately the way my work has been going I have to look hard to find something that doesn't peeve me off! But I would have to say it's on the downward slide to the long weekend! Which means jet boating to Kenueso falls in Tumbler ridge! Going with a few buddies I haven't seen it a few years! Going to be great!

My wife has been cooking low cal meals every day for 2 weeks now. Today, I had to compliment and thank her, for curing the dog from begging at the table. Thanks hun!

Happy today because I'm about to go to bed excited and wake up tomorrow which marks the start of my new career possibly. Hired at a HVAC company and a chance to get indentured if things work out after a few months.

Default Sleep and Coffee

I slept in this morning plus got over two hours sleep this afternoon before going on night shifts. In my books that's pretty good. The alternative is about 24 hours of no sleep.

Now I'm on my 4th cup of coffee to get through the rest of the shift!

Found an iPad today on the bench when I went for a drive/walk with the family. Some rain was forecasted today, so I took the iPad and left a note in a plastic bag saying call this number to get it back or it will be dropped off at the rcmp station after the long weekend. Got a call from the guy in about 30-45 minutes. His kid got his iPad back

Caught a 52" Stergeon today. That made me happy, as did getting out with a few of the boys for a long rip on the bikes

Haha ain't that the truth. Throw in a little non gluten and you and the dog will move out.

Pushing dirt with a d8 that isn't mud and down hill to boot. Life is good if you're in a 8.

Tomatoes are coming along really well. Also, the earliest I have ever had a first tomato in northern Alberta: July 29.

P.S. Have a peeve about the garden as well, but the thread was locked for no particular reason, unless i missed something.

Starting working a bit on the decoys and blind today. Looking forward to the opening. Also got the news that I am going to be a grandpa again.
