I like Hoyt. but take a look on ebay. You can pick one up for 260.00 ish USD. Shipping should be approx 30.00 (confirm with seller) with exchange rate you should be able to pick it up for well under 500 bones......

Default good choice

Last year the day before opening day my Darton exploded ( cam wasn't running true) I rushed around to find one and picked up a Hoyt avenger and am extreamly glad i did. its a beauty to shoot, very smooth draw, and tight groupings. i would highly recommend the avenger to anyone

Default Hoyt

I don't believe you can go wrong with any hoyt bow. I shoot an ultratec. Super smooth, rock solid, very accurate and quick. Very well crafted bows.
