this one is a little different deal, i picked up a browning maxus 3 1/2" camo 28" shotgun for a great price that i had planned on using, but have had no income for 2 months so i was going to resell it. This was to be my hunting gun, but i can go without for another year. There is always next year :sha_shakeshout:

If i had lots of money right now this would be a different auction, but this is what i can afford. I am ashamed that this is all i can do, but this really is all i can do right now.

I will donate every penny over my cost to this ideal. Retail on this shotgun is in the $1400 range.

If we cut to the chase, even money is $1000.00. A dollar over that means another dollar into the drive, and a great deal for you.

Auction ends wednesday 8:00.

Thank you all.
$1100

I also have 2 boxes of 3 1/2" shells that I will sell ONLY if the winner picks up, I won't ship ammo.

EDMONTON, May 17 /CNW/ - ATB Financial, Alberta's biggest financial institution, announced today that it will support customers affected by the massive Slave Lake wildfire by deferring payments on their loans for a year.

The major new deferral program is available starting today to any ATB customer in Slave Lake whose home was destroyed or damaged in the fire, whose business was affected, or who lost their job as a result of the disaster.

Also, the Government is asking those that have left their communities call the Red Cross so your where abouts are known.

I just wanted everyone to see the lengths the members will go to, to help out the less fortunate. A good solid kick in the twins with a steel toed boo... err I mean high heeled stiletto!

Way to go Kokanee83!

My wife dropped off a ton of clothes, shampoo's etc etc and after she unloaded they had to close the the place accepting donations as they were way to full, so they will open back up after they ship out the stuff they have now.

well done Alberta!

well done Alberta!
I spoke with the lady handling donations in Red Deer and got myself on the list of drivers to haul goods north. I am emptying out my tool trailer to do this and challenge all other contractors in Red Deer to do the same.

My wife also heard of the auctions we are holding here, and is willing to donate for auction, a pair of her handmade baby shoes. All proceeds to the relief effort. I know there is at least a few members on here who have had babys in the last few months, pony up and get your kid some shoes! (or buy them and donate them)

I believe we all owe a tip of our hats to Rob and the Mod's for their support in this thread. As Brothers/Sisters in our sports it is this forum that allows us the true glory's of life. And by the true Glory I mean the ability to band together, ignore any differences we may have and help people when we can. This is what gives us all real power. The power help is one above all others.
Thanks again AO!

RH
