Default Dalls done and on the Wall !!

My Dall is back from the taxidermist and on the wall . The wife would prefer it in the " room of death " as she calls it but I wanted him in the living room for a bit.
Took him July 18 2009 in the Mackenzie mountains south west of Norman Wells with my bud Tundra Monkey.

Default Dall !!!!

Very nice mount-I would be proud of that one! Congrats-you should display it there until next season at least!

Wow, that's awesome! My lifelong dream is/was to take a Dall, probably will never get the chance but your post just confirmed that the dream is still alive. Thanks for posting.

You should see her cringe whenever "musk-ox" is mentioned!!! I got my pedestal back a couple months ago.....she's pretty happy it's at my house

Pics don't really do it justice.....those July capes are something to see up close.

Yes Sheep....Robertson't did the work.....man he's awesome.

Thanks for the comments guys ( and Gals )
Greg at Robertsons did him for me and I"m very pleased with the work.
Yup I'm pretty pround of him , got him on the second year and owe it all to TM for giving me the fever and the were with all to just go and do it.
Will be heard to best him for sure.
Kev's Dall is a tighter curl , heavier then mine and just as beautiful. Took his about 6 years ago in the same area. Maybe if enough people bug him he will get a pic or two posted.
