Default What a Drent does !!!

Pictures of what a Drent does in the field. Looking forward to expanding this breed in western Canada.
You won’t find a better around hunting companion than the Drent.

Good looking dog yup. Looks like you have the right idea for breeding purposes, good job!

How do you find the breed for prey drive and how are they at home (off switch)?

Love the Drent. So very beautiful and versatile. I would have got one from the states but did not want to wait so I got the next best thing in the Small Munsterlander.

I’d definitely look at one in the future if they are expanded into Alberta.

Looks like some kind of Spaniel from here.

They are incredibly loyal and love to be around people, hamming it up with a stuffed toy. They love cuddling as well. They go hard in the field and turn it off at home.

The German Shorthaired Pointer is a descendant of the Drent. They have a non stop attitude when it comes to hunting or field trials. At home, loving and loyal. Not a mean bone in their body. They are not an aggressive dog and only want to please.
