Default Browning X-Bolt Timney Install

I have a Browning X-bolt with a recently installed Mcarbo spring. The spring was a definite improvement over stock, however I think I may be even happier upgrading to a Timney trigger. Can anyone tell me about the difficulty to install , fitment issues or anything like that. Thanks Tim

Default Did mine over a month ago

Big improvement. Brought trigger weight down to 1 pound 10 ounces.
The xbolt varmint trigger assembly I was replacing has groove along the right side of the trigger assembly which is where the safety "rod" is recessed into. The timney is not groved so the safety rod sits on the outside of the assembly and I found binds on the stock recess the assembly fits into. My stock is carbon fibre so it was quite easy to put tracing paper that leaves a blue mark wherever the rod is binding so it is easy to carve out l with a micro rotary tool (dremel or foredom).
That was the longest part of the whole installation cutting that little groove. Safety wont operate without it as soon as you tighten the screws down.
