Fish e o's Barnes are cursed. He helped me out in a pinch with getting some before the season. Dang things didn't shoot worth a hoot. Only time I ever couldn't get a box of Barnes to shoot. He must be into voodoo or something!

Two more deer fell to the 105 Amax out of a 243AI today.
And for the record Rman shot one of them.
Both bang flops
Shots were at 350 and 400 yards. And yes a rangefinder was used.

Your opinion is no more credible than any other internet or 'Googler' opinion. I've read your opinion and many others, your opinion is in the minority of opinions I have encountered regarding the A-max with most folks saying they will go back to using bullets with more integrity for larger game like moose and elk. I suppose you think all the other folks who have used them who disagree with you somehow must have a faulty opinion or experience, you have your opinion, if I don't take your word as the ultimate authority, I'm sorry, I hope it doesn't offend you to badly if I consider your opinion just another 'GOOGLER' opinion.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, always. It is when that opinion is passed off as fact, and with no experience, that there becomes an issue.
My opinion isn't an opinion, it is fact, as I have actually shot the bullet at animals, and I can speak to those results, you haven't and can't.
See the difference?
My experiences are probably different than the majority of your encountered opinions, for the same reasons.
You don't have to take my word for anything, and you certainly don't have to be sorry. Unlike a certain group here, I don't have to be right all of time.
Again, my opinion isn't an opinion. Unlike most, again, I get outside and do stuff, and when I comment on threads, it's because I've done it, not run the googler so I can look smart, absolutely have to respond, or because I have to be right.

I am a kinda a big enough deal in real life, I certainly don't need to come here and pretend to be one.

We were losing light fast., so pics weren't a priority!!!
Rob was abandoned in the wilds with the grounded deer in order for us to get to a sweet spot. Thanks, Rob.
We continued, but had no further luck.

The whole point was to get a Vet, a deer.

Mission accomplished.

Off to look for moose.

I'm wondering where you found those inexpensive bullets myself.
Then there is the pic where the bullet/shot placement did its job by blowing the hide clean off the critter.
Job done!
What reload data did you use, of course not to recommend said data without proper Laos developments first and all.

Default Sweet!

Thank you for sharing this, I picked up a few boxes of these last year.. And am totally happy to learn that they will work.. Just fine.

Presently my main projectile is the .284 162gr SST.. Although I haven't had a chance to personally judge how I feel about em, especially after reading a lot of reviews pros and cons..

Also have lots of Interlock, while I was initially searching for Interbond.. Can't find any Interbond at all..

Goes to show on fairly thin skinned game.. The minute differences we as picky perfectionist people desire.. Means very little to much of the targets down range hey?!

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences, kudos

This is great, considering the source, and the fact unlike a certain group here, I don't need a fan club.

Default One more to the count.

I will never be relevant, because I know.

I know only because I will take what is published in a reference.

I know the published information can be valid.

Most references’ will base information on the controls they have used.

That is why fire is good.

It will burn.

It doesn’t care.
