Default 222 Rem and FMJ

Anyone have any experience loading 222 Rem with 55 or 62 gran FMJ

I would like to use them for beaver. They can handle a bit of water better.

Thanks in advance

Default rifling twist

If the .222 is the standard 1-14" heavier bullets may not stabilize.I've loaded 55gr SP's bullet they have a shorter OAL than most FMJ's of the same weight.

55’s yes, 62’s no.
It’s all about the rifling twist.

I have loaded lots of 55 grain FMJ's for beaver in my .222.
