Can't help you with a trainer, and sorry for your luck having two chocolates.

I'm kidding!!! I'm kidding!!! I love chocolates.

If the 3 year old retreives, there is hope. It will take someone with savvy, but it can be done. same with the pup, if it will retreive then it's just training to tell it when and how. The trainers I know are way busy and a year behind.
It 's too bad you aren't closer, I'd love to help.

If you can find a retreiver club, there are people that train nearly daily and are always looking for new people to train with. It takes a few people to get a good training session working.

Get evan grahams smartfetch and smartworks books. They are amazing and you will then be able to get your dogs in hunting shape before the hunting season, plus get the benefit of bonding with your own dogs by doing the training yourself and save yourself a load of $$.

X 2 on Ringneck Kennels (403) 934-2377

Can't go wrong with Mike Lardy http://www.totalretriever.com/ Volume I and II for reading or his DVDs. Volume I is well worth the money - great info, program and easy to follow.
