I'd say she looks like a "Toby" to me. Found the real story for Toby a number of years ago. Toby was a slave to Geo Washington, we he went accross the Potomic river, toby held the horses in anticipation of hisreturn. As they did return and it was record cold spell, They found "Toby" fozen still holding the horses... So in my mind Toby means faithful to death, and I'm sure your mule will be just that.

Name the mule. Win a prize.
I have a couple jennys that look like they are siblings to your new pet. Both have provided a lot of entertainment and mileage over the mountains from Waterton to Hell's Gate on the Smokey. Now that your started, you will soon be cutting back on those horses. After all - any fool can ride a horse!
My nominations for a name are Leaf and Zing
Enjoy,

Looks like a good mule for packing coffee through the mountains, so I'd go with Juanita Valdez. Juan Valdez probably could have used the love of a good mule too!
My better half says you should name her Sue, after "A Boy Named Sue"

Call her Liberal. The second picture says it all. Of course Jeannie would also work. Cretien doesn't sound right. Marvelous looking animal. I saw two mules in a weight pull outdrag Clydesdales. Pound for pound, they've got to be one of the toughest animals I have witnessed.
