Damn smoke at Blackspur Ultra

Air index is at 10+ with no forecast of lessening.

My two team runners have bailed.

So I’m doin leg one for fun...

Wife is soloing ..... and we’re going to conference as to whether she should continue after leg one.

Probably going to shutdown my kids’s team right after my leg.

There’s some health-lung stuff to consider here.

It is definitely thick out there. Last years LSU was the same with a 10+ yet course records were broken. Also Know of more than a couple runners that were affected for quite sometime following the race. Listen to your body its always better to come back and fight another day.

Gotta train better. Wifey is on second leg... she’s feeling fine.
