Default Camping near falcon lake Manitoba.

Has anyone ever been to falcon lake in south eastern manitoba? We want to go this July with 2 family's with children between 5&10 camping in 2 small rvs.

http://www.gov.mb.ca/conservation/pa...re_campgrd.pdf

I am open to other near by suggestions too. It needs to have a beach & playground.

Thanks.

falcon lake has a camp ground and a nice golf course. If you fish lake has a nice supply of small mouth bass and pike . just east of falcon lake a few miles on hwy 1 there is a small lake on the south side it has tones of rainbow trout.

Book early, thats prime real estate for anyone camping in Manitoba. Very popular area.

Basically 2 govt campgrounds in Falcon Lake.
Beach Campground and Lakeshore Campground.
Beach is more structured and is a full service campround( better option with large RV requiring full service)- Lakeshore has a playground near the beach-closest loops to beach and playground at Lakeshore are Bays 4&5
Both campgrounds have unsupervised beaches.

A bit dated but this will give you an idea of what is in the Rennie area for campgrounds with # of units etc.
