Default 3 weeks left

Count yourselves lucky. With the fast approaching opening day just around the corner, lots of us will be cementing plans in place.
My time has been cut short to 3 weeks of prep time left. I leave for work today, and my rotation sees me at home only for July 28th- Aug 19th before the season kicks in. I am not allowed to take my bow with me to the sunny beaches of Cuba, so practice time takes a huge hit. I will however be home for prime Elk time.

Is everyone ready, or is it crunch time?

I have gotten back into my archery elk routine. Since I dont shoot a bow it consists of practicing my elk calling for 30 min. a day on my ride home from work. I have already worn out 2 cds. I have been in the gym at lunch hitting the tread mill and eliptical trying to drop weight and get the cardio up. I only hope my buddy 'prospector' is shooting his new drenalin lots and maybe this can be our lucky year. Either way cant wait to head north at the end of august and make some noise in the bush
