You need to switch to Koodo. Or Lada.

Give up the phones then. Or buy your phone outright and get a deal buy buying older models used then get a pay as you go plan with no data and use WiFi when you can.

My phones on Koodo cost me $35 a month. I own my phone and yes it is 4 years old. Still works fine. The other is a flip, not even smart. You just have to learn that you don't need the latest phone every time one comes out. First world problem, quit whining, there are alternatives that are easily accessible.

IMO the priorities are in the wrong place. You have many options ranging from driving an older car that's paid for to finding a better phone plan. I'm not big on compromise so here's a novel concept... find a way to make more money. Being poor is a choice not an sentence. If your on disability with minimal options my apologies.

If you have to make a choice between a vehicle or phone plan and both are brand new you are living outside of your means. With that being said we sure do get taken for a ride by the big three in Canada on what we pay for data.

Run a SK or MB number to save money. Two phones on Bell with SK numbers. Unlimited everything. $140/month all in on a small business plan for both lines.
