help ! - junk email to "agt.net" address

For some unknown reason, my 'telus.net' email account is being flooded with junk email sent to '(my name) @agt.net.'
As old-timers are aware, 'AGT' was Alberta Government Telephones at one time which morphed into present-day TELUS.
My first email address was 'xxx@agt.net', then 'xxx@telusplanet.net', which then changed to 'xxx@telus.net'.

I'd like to continue receiving email sent to the 'telusplanet.net' and the 'telus.net' addresses. but not the 'agt.net' address.

I've tried the TELUS help lines, but all I get are young people who have no idea that TELUS was once AGT. They tell me that 'You'll have to call AGT and get them to cancel that account'.

Does anyone else have the same issue? Any ideas on how to cancel or block email coming in on an old 'agt.net' address ?

Upgrade your email address
I recommend getting a gmail account.

It auto detect spam and deletes it.

Should be able to set a simple rule to block or send junk to the trash. Make sure you rule the domain name only, not the IP.

With all the accounts and contacts linked to my telus address, changing my email isn't a viable option.
I've tried your suggestion Silverdoctor, and made a new 'rule'. Let's see if that works. Thank you very, very much !
