Rainfresh Ultraviolet (UV) Water Disinfection System

Anybody have any feedback/experience with the Rainfresh Whole House Ultraviolet (UV) Water Disinfection System? CT has them on sale right now and a buddy of mine is thinking about getting one. He lives on an acreage, so has his own well....

It's not very common to get waterborne organisms that make you sick from a well, usually that comes from water exposed to sunlight. The UV light treatment is BS as far as I'm concerned for wells. If you are using surface water...that is a completely different story.
