Default AHE Instructor, Medicine Hat

My 12 year old daughter has announced that she wants to attend a Alberta Hunter Education class I was wondering if anyone could recommend an instructor in the Medicine Hat area that was particularly good with children. Feel free to PM.
Thanks kindly,
John

Do it on line its easy and you can sit with her while she does it, ive done t with young hunters starting out and needing their hunter saftey course, works out will and can be informative if they have some one around to ask questions and such

X2 with Dale wood. He does the course out of the town of redcliff town hall.
I think it's over three nights with the third night being the exam and practical exam. He had lots of items to look at when my son took the course 4 years ago. my son also took the fac course as well.

Default On Line or local Fish and Game Club

Yes, you could do it on line with her or better yet, I think there is a great Fish and Game club in town and they probably put on a course when they get enough interest.

I know in Lethbridge if you belong to a fish and game club the coarse is free and if you take the coarse on line it costs $90 and if you took it at the College here in Lethbridge it cost $40 I would check into your local fish and game club to see if it's the same in Medicine Hat, they may run a coarse at the college there as well.

again....no they dont. if you want to do a full course track down dale wood through the redcliff town hall.... otherwise its online.

you bring up a point that has been made before though....it does seem like something the local F&G club should get involved in.

Default Thanks

Thanks everyone.
I was hoping she'd do the course online like her Mother did, but she wants a classroom course. Whatever makes her happy I guess. I'll certainly still be around for questions and help either way.

Default Youth hunter ed camp

A little more expensive than doing just the course, but my son would highly recommend the youth camp at Alfred Lake
