Laminated Traps?

I am trying to find out if anybody can share some info on laminated traps vs. nonlaminated traps.
I just ordered some laminated, and hadn't heard anything bad about them until after I bought them, (of course).
I've heard they are slower than the nonlaminated. I ordered them with four coil, posi lock. They are the MB 650's.
