Default Archery lesson in the edmonton area?

Hi everyone,
I’m new to archery and was wondering if anyone new of somewhere or someone who gives archery lessons? I know, COVID screws up everything, but it never hurts to ask. I own a compound bow and am a member of the Sherwood park fish and game club of that helps.
Thanks!

Lessons are suspended at most places you'll find, but when the restrictions lift a bit, you can try the top-notch folks at Jim Bows:

Default Lessons

Until the Covid restrictions are lifted, this what I would do.

1. Go to Jimbows and make sure you are properly sized and fitted to the bow. Make sure it is somewhat timed and d-loop, center shot and peep are correct. They will still provide this service during Covid.

2. Watch John Dudley Nock On videos on YouTube.

3. Used a tripod and video camera (cell phone) and video tape yourself shooting. Make sure the video is a head to toe frame.

4. Adjust your shooting as per the Nock On and what you see on your videos

Good Luck

I once heard a quote that I try to shoot by. "Practice does not make perfect, but rather perfect practice makes perfect."
Thought it was good advice. Practice creates muscle memory. Try shooting as much as you can, however if I'm feeling rushed or simply distracted, I hang the bow up and try again at a time I can concentrate and for me, that makes me a better bow hunter.

Good luck. Archery becomes a lifestyle !

Michael.
