They are generally viewed as the worst factory strings on all the major manufacturers. Lots of negative review on Archery Talk in regards to Zebra strings.

I would say zebra strings are of mediocre quality at best. I would be putting my fathers Mathews in the press once a month to tweak the strings and cables to bring the cams back into time or to correct peep rotation. This went on far too long. Finally he bit the bullet and ordered a set of custom strings/cables and hasn't looked back. It seems like people that are serious shooters don't bother with zebra strings and go straight custom.

Jimbows brings in ABB which are really good strings. I had good luck with Mean Moose Archery out of Ontario. Some of the highly regarded string makers in the US are:

Catfish Custom
Hogwires
Threadz
JBK
Gas
Vapor Trail
Breathn

There are lots really, and most will ship to Canada.

I just purchased my first Mathews this year and the zebra strings are garbage. I ordered a set from high voltage strings. Check them out

i have bought catfish customs out of the states. they are much cheaper than ABB and still have phenomenal workmanship. I can't recommend them enough. There are also a bunch of quality local string makers as well.

I just replaced my strings on my traverse with a set from 60X, no problems so far. Shooting really well with no peep twist. Picked up 4lb of draw weight over my Zebra strings that I shot for a year and a half.
