Foiles will be back again along with sponsors and other money.............I don't think so this time. This is the information age and events like this travel fast. Foiles will be hard pressed to ever be able to hunt again, is my guess, and, never likely guide or film. It would seem he burned way too many bridges with the general hunting public, sponsors.......more I think about, the angier I get! He now carries the name tag of "Poacher" .............he's done! If his violations were small 'slip-ups' that anyone could have made, then I can see giving him some slack, but from I have heard/read and seen on video, he just flat out showed no respect for the sport ,the resource, and fellow sportsman, demonstrating his abusive attitude and mentality.

I know he's innocent until proven guilty, so for now, let's just wait for him to have his day in court. Democracy is a good thing.

Some people have short memories. How many people remember that Italo Labignon and Henry Waschuk got into some trouble with the law while filming their fishing show? Aren't both those guys on tv again?

The guys I hang with will NEVER forgive and forget those two poachers!!
One of them is back, but not to the extent he used to be, for sure.

They are both back on television with their own shows. In fact, one of them is living the good life in Florida with two television programs now. M70 is right...people quickly forget.

it doesn't really surprise me, simply because those of us that remeber and refuse to support anything that people like that endorse are being eclipsed by the younger generation.
remember the adds on the back of the mags with Kirk Darner and all those antlers?
I have spoken to a LOT of hunters who don't even know who he is let alone someone like Claude Dallas, or the name Lloyd McMahon.

Keep in mind Foiles is a 'big wig' in the waterfowl business. He was one of the 'bad boy' goose killers that the younger hunters looked up to, but, something tells me his name will be remembered, and NOT for the better. Best summed up as 'Foiles dead meat'..............too bad, cause he could have done a lot for the sport in a positive way.

I agree, not ALL the young hunters looked up to him, but the younger audience seemed to like his videos better with all the heavey metal giutar noise in the background. It is good to know that your young son had someone to steer him in the right direction.

It'll be something along the lines of "Cole's Carrying on the Carnage"...........I somehow doubt it.

Actually, his calls are quite good, as good as any on the market. Ever hear Sean Hammock on one of his calls? Prett awesome to say the least.

I only got one Band this Fall off a male RedHead. He was banded in Utah in 2009.

Oct 8, 2004 Foiles was 16 ducks over near Camrose,,,, on Oct 9, he was 20 geese over near Bentley. There's enough distance apart on these shoots that he couldn't been finding them all himself. Was there a local outfitter / contact helping him out? Seems to me being featured "back in the day" on a Foiles video or being connected to Foiles in some way might be good for for business,,,, that is until you get caught!!!

Default control hunting

I'd be more than willing to pay 5 fold for a draw if a good percentage of that went to hiring additional wildlife agents and stronger legislation to hurt those who continue to abuse the privilege of the hunt.

The scary part is that one of those people is still a member of APOS.With convicted criminals and poachers for members, how can APOS ever expect the public to trust them?
