Default Species Please!!!!

So far been out twice and got a bluewing and a greenwing teals. Lots of them around still, mallards and only a few honkers where i'm at.

But want to start a list as to what species everyone takes this fall.

1. Blluewing Teal
2. Greenwing Teal

Canvasback, Redhead, Widgeon, Gadwall, Shoveler, Pintail, Mallard, Blue + Greenwing teals and I think thats about it so far.

Hot weather and no northern ducks around Yet.

bluewing teal
mallard
american wigeon
pintail

Not to hijack...but patience WJ, they are coming your way...saw a few high flights of migrating birds over the rig today...mind you there will be damn few left after we're done with them...LOL!!!!...you can hope they fly over Wetaskiwin though, I guess there is a guy over there that takes 2 or 3 a year....

Lots of high flocks of specks, and a few cranes over our place heading south east towards Killam today Hal.
So far this season I've taken a few Canada's, Bluewing Teal, Widgeon, Shovellers and Mallards. Waiting for the northern's to show up now.

Yaa they get pretty smart by the time they come my way,

But i'll tell you what,with all this heat and a late migration this fall,i'm going to be pounding some Full plumage wall hangers this late october\early november.
