Default how a coyote run cross a deep ravine?

I wonder if the coyote has such ability to cross a deep ravine with deep water in it? Will he swim to cross it if there is a free easy meal on the other side of shore?

I just get a permission on a farm's land, but his land is devided by the deep ravine in the middle. I am thinking how to set up my stands. I have to make sure where are the possible routes for those coyotes sneak in. I believe the ravine would be the excellent cover for them, so I guess they would come from there..am I right?

Please teach me if I am wrong. Many thanks!

yes to the first question and no to the second, but if their is an easy free meal they will find a easy way to get there. coyotes don't take risks lightly, they will swim across deep water if they have to but they prefer to stay dry if possible.
