Default Charges laid in coyote carcass case

Heard on the radio this afternoon that F&W charged 2 individuals with dumping those 150 coyote carcasses at Ridge reservoir last month . $232 fines for each person , no names mentioned . Said it was illegal to dump them on public ground .

Default Coyotes

So these guys were charged but the "other guys" who left the rotting suckers on cold lake get no charges. A double standard?

What was the biggest issue with those carcasses anyway? Did the proximity of the reservoir come into play or was it only a matter of improper disposal? I just put mine in a dead pit of any landowner that I'm trapping for but I don't know what it's like in that area.

Issue is that they were dumped on Public ground near a water source . Lots of places around here that they could have been disposed of , out of sight , out of mind .. Like the saying goes , you cant fix stupid. Too bad the guys weren't named on the radio.

So what can be said about all those suckers that were left on top of the ice on cold lake, hopefully the same can come out of that too.

Public area covered in rotting fish

So in regards to this issue...

It was not a trapper!!! It was a couple of young guys and they shot them all.
