I agree, just don’t see why people are harping on these injection sites.

Because they leave needles laying around there.
They chase people away begging and threatening people.
Easy access means more drug activity. (Safe injection sites encourage addiction)
No fear of reprisal means they think they are entitled to the drugs and sites.
They are destroying the areas around the sites.

I think they are a massive disgusting horrific mistake. The garbage is illegal.

If they are only allowed to shoot up there fine. But, some safe injection sites are just providing a clean "kit" and let them walk out.........more needles on the ground.
