Default Yes.. There are 23" trout in the upper Crow

A thread like this went through a few years ago with so
Wine claiming to have seen or landed a 26-29" rainbow in the upper Crow. I have caught 18-20, but I had doubts about anything over 20 to be honest with you.

Well, three days ago, an 89 year old relative of mine (who only fishes with 5 different flies... Cause that's all you need on the Crow ..)
Showed me am honest to goodness 23" rainbow he pulled out of the Crow that very day.

He got it on dry fly!

No... I won't post pics cause of the flame factor. But I did see it and wow!!! That's a fish of a lifetime.

All you c&r purists please stand down on this one. Fish are food, not friends.

Seems I still have much to learn about the waters I fish.

I've caught my share in and around the 20" mark with a couple over. One a couple Aprils ago that taped at 22". I don't find it hard to believe that they could push up to the 25" range. Stories a few years back of a 30" being caught and bonked but never saw a photo.

Caught this one in early July while the water was still high. ( Think he is in and around 20")

If fish could talk, wonder how many times a fish like that has been caught and released.

There are indeed 20"+ fish. A buddy of mine caught a 25" brown from the crow.
I probably wouldn't have believed him if I wasn't there

There's definitely 20 inch fish in the upper Crow!
Here's a few that were taped between 20-23 inches the last few seasons...
(bottom one just made the mark, but was a football)

They're there. But they're damn picky. Better shots at them at different times of the year.
