Young deer, huge potential.
Found them last hunting season.
I'd say the buck was 2-3 years old when shed, then I'd say the sheds would be 2 years old when found... plus a year, he will be around 6-7 years old now.. if alive..

Sorry huntinguy that's an old muley past his prime and never had or will have a trophy rack. Got lots around here like that. They get old cuz they don't get caught in the rut with a dozen does. Young mules with potential are huge fork horns or three pointers with long beams and tines and a nice wide frame. Once mature they will grow a fifth point at the back sometimes. Got a few great books on mules and live around them and near a coal mine and park where they get to die of old age.

A short main beam saved this bucks life last season..
We had him at distances of 20 - 200 yards numerous times through out the season but let him go .maybe he will be better this year

Must of been a heck of a sight from a distance. Nice big, tall frame.

Don't know how you can wait until fall. I wouldn't have come home until I found the other side. Hope the porcupines, rabbits and squirrels don't find it first.

I know man. It sucks. But with ****ty spring calving was time consuming. Never had time. Oh well. I have a real life pic of him so maybe I can get a full set and a head to go with it. Told the wife a nice shed is like a nice shoe, gotta have two. She doesnt agree. She says what are you gonna do with all those "bones"? So I say what are you gonna do with 16 pairs of shoes?

I thought it was an interesting one. Wonder what the guy looks like now and will look a couple of years from now.

Was wondering the same thing myself. I would guess that the other one is irregular as well and it could very well be that it is fairly similar to this one. Chances of finding the other one are next to none, unfortunately. Maybe I will see the buck instead
