can you degrease an already tanned fur hide?

I tan for my own interest and came across a prime coyote shot in my friends field. I tanned and degreased as per tanning instruction, but it it is still greasy feeling after . is there any way to clean /degrease a tanned hide?its a few years old, looks great but greasy
