Default wader question

i'm looking for a decent pair of waders in the 100-150$ range. i have been considering redington crosswaters. does anyone have any experience with them or any other waders in that price range? i'd like to avoid neoprene waders if possible.

How often do you go fishing where you need waders. Do you fish in the winter?

these will work just fine....I had an identical pair although they can get a little warm in the summer. That said, you could stand in ice cold water and feel nice and toasty. These are great for Kananaskis and other cold waters but I used them in the bow as well in the summer. I did upgrade to lighter ones but these certainly have their place!

i'll probably get out a dozen or so times this year. I'd also like to use them for muskrat trapping in the fall.

made for the military. perfect for trapping/hunting/fishing.

there are better waders on the market. but you'll pay 3-4 times more money

I would buy a cheaper pair of breathable stocking foot waders with korkers boots for summer fishing. If they leak no issues but I would suggest neoprenes for fall with built in boots as they are warmer and you won't lose your boot in the mud. I had good luck with hodgeman waders before I bought my Simms
