Default Anyone heading up to Meadow Lake on the Long weekend ?

Just wondering if anyone is heading up to Meadow lake P.P. for some fishing and camping on the long weekend ? Would appreciated your opinions and exepriences if you have been up in that are before. And also if you are going let me know as I am about 90 per cent sure I will be up there with a couple of my teens. Have a couple of places that will see my hooks...

I will be at Keeley/Fern that weekend. it is only about an hour from kimball. In behind Kimball there is a little lake called Little Raspberry. it has tiger trout, some browns and lots of splake. The last test netting I saw on Kimball was lots of walleye but small. If you are travelling to Kimball i would recommend Keeley/ fern/Atchison which are all within about 5 km. Anyways where ever you end up have a good one..

I am not going there but Grieg lake can be good for some big walleye early. Have had luck before in hidden bay. Try spinner baits at a very slow troll
