Default Organizing your fly boxes

So I am starting to get a allot of flies and need some organizational advice, do you organize all your mayflies into to one box and have a the life cycle of a mayfly in there having a box for stoneflies, caddis etc, or is it easier to organize by position in the water column then drys followed by a box for streamers, hopper, sculpins etc.

I have a box for nymphs and a box for streamers./ Then, a box for mayflies/stones, a box for caddis/stimmies, and a box for terrestrials/others.

I use a couple of "mother boxes"then try to figure out what I'll need that day and put those in a 6x4" carry box.Sometimes I lose out forgetting one pattern I need but usually get by ok.Got way to many flies to carry all of them.Carry a few streamers and drys and nymphs for what "should"be hatching that day also a few traditionals.

I have two big fly boxes that have a middle piece so the flies can be put on 4 sides. It holds so many flies that I just have the two. One for my 4 wgt, one for my 6wgt with the bigger streamers and large nymphs. I generally only carry the 4wgt box since that is the majority of my fishing.

I have a framed foam wall in my room above my tying bench that's 3'x18" and I put all my flies in there, every trip I take the required ones out and try to put them back after haha. I like to have it above my tying bench because it allows me to constantly appreciate the flies I have and the art that some of my friends and I create.

The majority of my flies are all well organized and catalogued amongst a collection of fly boxes,Sucrets tins, cigar boxes, plastic bags, paper bags, fly shop tubs,Flyshop snap lids,Skoal cans, foam patches, ball caps, chest pack, fly vest, window visors, stuck in air freshener hanging from rear view mirror, boat box in pontoon bags, hidden in closets, scattered on tying bench, and stuck in the bottom of rod socks and tubes.......the rest are scattered willy nilly, lost amongst the chaos, bwaaahahaaaa!!
Wtf,I can never seem to find the fly I want when I want it,go figger?
