Weren't you guys moaning about a call last night? You actually got a hooking call but were demanding a penalty shot?? No different.

Know why the Jets got a too many men? Seemed to me the change was near the bench and buddy was completely off the ice before the puck was touched.

Half those goals aren't his fault ether IMO.

Missed another one, Anderson cleanly shot that over the glass, no call.

That one was strange. Wonder if it was just how it was fluttering it tapped the glass on the way over. Not sure.

No kidding, Bennett had some solid chances but don't go in but that dribbles in. Go figure.
Oh well onto the next one. Need to play more then 20-30 minutes to win.

Flamers are consistent, no win in the opening game in what 11 years...

Just took a look at the Arizona game. I see they have some fans in the stands. Huh I wonder how the Canadian owners will like that, HAHA won't see that in any arena up here this season.

Seems like Simone is in and Nordstrom is out and Bennet and Ryan switched.

I'd love to see Bennet higher up the lineup. Annoys me, won't trade him, cause they think he's got potential (which I agree with), but stick him on the 4th line with Lucic and Nordstrom cause.....

I thought he played well the other night, he keeps it up they will have to move him up. He likes center so might be part of it.

How do we get this woman fired? This is killing me. I cant imagine her being the colour guy all year long...
I don't know if anyone in the history of Hockey is as bad as her at what she does... Surely someone who is in the SAIT broadcasting course would be better than her. Perhaps the guy that announces the 50/50 at the local Bantam games could do it.

Yup, if they can play like this fairly consistently, they'll be a top team.

Hopefully more than the 1st period like last game anyways...

I am happy with our special teams so far. Last year they were not good. So far great kill there. Moving puck well, Tkachuck back in front of the net again. Great goal tic tac toe . Now keep it up don't stop again.

Haven't watched any games yet huh?

I personally think the Oil took a step backwards with their defense and goal tending and not enough of a step forwarded with their forwards to come out ahead. Guess we'll see.

Sounds like JT Miller will be in the lineup for Vancouver tonight.

Should change things for them a bit, had 72 pts last year, but it will be his first game since the fall, so hopefully he doesn't change too many things for them. I liked the last game!

Also sounds like Demko will likely get the start.
