It’s a no brainer. All electrical components and or their connections are rusting/deteriorating as I type this.

Bud if you can RUN then do so, if not then walk away as fast as you can, either way don't touch this with a 10' pole, water damage to electrical components are a never ending fix.................. don't buy yourself a headache

Know of a work truck which was "partially submerged". Truck was cleaned up and not written off. Shortly after going back into service... nothing but electrical issues... a bad one was intermittently all the exterior lights would suddenly go out then come back on. Truck was eventually wrote off.
I always thought anything submerged past the rockers and into the cabin gets an automatic write off designation and flagged as a parts only vehicle. Now that is a grey area as to how high did the water get and what got into the driveline and electrical.
That being said, if it has not had many electrical ghosts plaguing it yet, it is coming. That saving now could cost you a lot more later.
