Spray foam for a cargo trailer floor
I insulated the inside and now need the bottom side of the floor spray foamed, my cross members are 2” so I’m guessing to fill it flush with those. Anyone have experience with a company that does this and will the spray foam handle the road grime

Where you at? Foam Feeders in Stettler could do it. Not cheap though. Probably cost ya 3 or 4 bucks per square foot. Should stand up to road grime no problem.

Spray foam will stick, provided you get things nice and clean underneath. I'll echo Gunnar, probably won't be cheap, but closed cell urethane insulation is definitely the way to go.

I just finished converting a cargo trailer into a toyhauler hunting camper... when it came to insulating the floor, i was quoted $350+tax by a guy in Calgary.
Instead, i bought some 2” thick rigid foam insulation and 2-1/2” screws with extra wide washers and screwed the insulation panels to the underside of the trailer. Cost about $125 for all of it, and took about 45 minutes.
I’m not sure how it’ll stand up to gravel roads in the long term, but it’s worked great for the past couple months of hunting season.
I can get you the guys number if you like. PM me if you need it.

Has anyone had a trailer spray foamed lately? What was the approximate cost? Floor? Ceiling? Walls?

If it were me, I’d do the foam sheets in between the joists, and leave 1/4” all around. I would think that spray foaming it would cause corrosion issues. Wouldn’t wanna shorten the life of the trailer.
