Another win for the Nucks. 11 goals in 2 games..whose worried about scoring now? Either that or it was just thefact we were against the Flames and Kipper lol

Kipper turned into another case of "I got my money, so I don't have to play anymore" He isn't even an average goalie anymore.

Maybe Iggy needs to feed him one of those left hooks and wake him up.

Actually Kipper's flavor of choice is the vodka and the mary jane, learned that from a guy who played with him on the Sharks farm team.

As a side note, is it just me or does Calgary (apart from a few players) look SLOW on the ice?

well 3 hours till the oilers start their season...i would love a win tonight....but honestly if they can can come right out of the box with the drive and the hunger that the canucks have show (ugggh i just threw up a little in my mouth) i will be pleased. i want to see them flying, battling for pucks...i want to see some tenacity. a will would just be gravy. i want to be shown that there is a team i can get behind.

Looking good for the Oil right now, up 2-1, midway through the third. Love the way the old school jersey's look. Should wear them all the time.

Ugly win tonite but it is a win. Last year we would have lost that kind of game. I too love the retro 3rd Jersey. Gonna ask Santa for one for Xmas. Hope the lines gel some more..

As much as I HATE AND LOATHE the lamers. I highly doubt the coke thing. Its pretty hard to be a user in this day and age with testing and what not. Hes just an above average goalie on an average team. Jerome and Frankeneuf are the lone bright spots.....

Frankeneuf LOL....funniest name i've heard since last year. Completely true. I doubt it too, mabey its a joke on the way he lifts his mask and snorts like a user snorting coke? lol. All i know is the guys gone downhill since that big contract was signed. If calgary had a solid goalie and their players put in a half decent effort, I think they would have a playoff team. They sure look good on paper but come on-ice they just cave in.

I loathe the Flames, but after two games it is probably a bit early to write off the season.

Loved to retro jersey's! They just had a natural 'feel' about 'em.

I agree you hear alot of unsubstantiated rumours about athletes, etc. I shake my head when people start a rumour and state it as "fact".

Man i loved the look of those new oilers jerseys. Game was a bit ousy , but didnt lose and didnt go into overtime or a shootout. The oilers will be a tuff team this year. Penner will be on fire forsure.

Even as a Flames fan, you have to love the retro Oilers jersey. Much better than their new white one which looks too much like a practice jersey. Goes to show if it ain't broke why fix it.

I agree - those retro oiler jerseys looked great last night. The oil looked a bit shaky but it was their first game of the year and they managed to come out with a win.

The Canucks didn't play so hot tonight. Hopefully the Flames aren't the only team they can play good against.

Calgary is obviously the superior team so far.

I'm a little concerned that Kipper is back in tonite though. I would have benched his sorry *****.

I have only watched a few games but i seems like the ref's are calling alot of weak calls (hooking) this calgary games has had a handful both ways.

Kannon give it another period and Kippers average will be back up to 5.10 again

Flames were lucky to get outa this one. Kipper is just not going to do it if this is the level hes going to play at. 5.00 GOA in 3 games isnt exactly Vezina worthy

They only test for performance enhancing drugs. You could be a crackhead and play.
