Default !!!!when hard work pays really pays off!!!!

Gosh darn Holy smokes!!! I'm above and beyond the feeling of winning the 6/49 and as a great mentor said to me years ago "Ahhh skip buying lottery tickets, just make your own lottery!", or when life gives you lemonade. My lemonaid took 15 years to juice and today the stand got built at the end of the driveway and the customers are quenched. I can count the chickens as they have hatched.

Too many details as to the what's and who's and why's and the novels worth of writing and the negotiating and troubleshooting and phonecalls and budgetting and phonecalls and troubleshooting and 18 hour days pretty much non-stop since August,, and just knowing that I was right the whole time and not crumbling under the weight of it all. And in this whole time I was paid from my own savings as the work is paid by performance and that performance has finally been graded with two word's,

Let's Start

There are some AO members that know a smidge of it all and will reap something in some capacity in it all (you know who you are) and there will be jobs created of a most interesting sort.

I can now sleep and think about fishing again.

Thanks you wacky wacky world of AO forums to give me a semblance of somewhere to go to unruffle the brain, the insanity of here kept me sane.

Awesome news Gustav! All your efforts must sure make those results all the sweeter I expect

Have you any personal rewards or treats in mind for yourself when you start falling into Brett Wilson's tax bracket?

We'll miss you when you start hanging out on the elite African safari and Florida deep-sea fishing websites instead of slumming it with the likes of us Neanderthals

Thats great GM...good things come to those who wait and karma has great ways of shining on those who do good deeds.

You and I have never met but in the PM's you have shared some great info with me....which I really appreciate by the way!

Hope to meet you face to face sometime to shake your hand!

I for one have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

Congrats, GM!

It inspires to me to persevere when I hear someone else has reached a level of success that they have been striving to achieve.

We all need and deserve a day of good news like you have had....apparently.

Good for you...can't wait for details.

If you have a dream of where you want to see yourself, you can attain it and it will take work.

How's that for a fortune cookie cliche?

And sometimes that dream will splinter into 3 dreams that you never imagined.

GM - I'm with the rest of the good folks here - I congratulate you for succeeding!

For some of us, success seems unattainable. One thing after another after another after another - it is very refreshing to see someone actually make it.

I'm with greylynx, toasting you!

So far you have been full of "cliche".

I find it very odd how so many here are congratulating you and wishing you well and they don't know what the heck it is you have accomplished.

Is there any reason you are being secretive about it?

Congratulations - I guess, because I have absolutely NO idea what happened !
However, seeing's how I'm in the dark a lot of the time anyway, I guess it comes to no surprise to me!
Again, Sir, congratulations on your good fortune!

Care to talk to my son about all this "hard work ethic" stuff?
I think he tunes me out sometimes

I sure hope it was not something that most people would consider trivial or BAD that you have "finally accomplished".

Some people may find they look a little foolish for giving you "kudos" without knowing what you have done.

Work for certain clients can often entail privacy & discretion; Gustav's just being as discrete as he can while yelling out his great combination sigh of relief and triumph is all. His work has been scrutinized and validated and he's a happy man for it.

I'm glad that someone knows what he is talking about and approves. I can see your explanation as being valid.
