Almost bought those mavens, having trouble deciding between unloading my sig sauer RF binos for these mavens and a leica RF
$345 for those mavens seema real reasonable

At 345 I would buy a set right now for my nephew's Christmas present but all the ones I find listed are $460, or am I missing something.

Take a look at that Amazon link again, right below the price it says " Join Prime to save $115.00 on this item".
I would assume that all Prime members get it for that price.
ETA- I can appreciate saving $115 on a purchase, but I would contact Maven to find out if they would price match before I spent a nickel at Amazon. They are the retail equivalent of Skip the Dishes. Slimy crooks.

the 761 or whatever the new model is is over 2200 with tax and shipping
at 1270 yesterday it was a bargain and you might not lose a penny if from alberta and selling out of province in a year or two

I get the sign up for prime and save, they have that deal on every day and you are right that does make it $345.
I did call Maven direct. They suggest that being in Canada we just order through Amazon. She says that is their primary distribution outlet world wide and that shipping and taxes is far less complicated through Amazon. I think they are slimy crooks too, but seems like the world is beating a path to their doors.

Appreciate the offer but it is easy to sign up for the free trial, get the discount, and cancel after 30 days. They still keep offering the free trail next time you sing in.  My issue is I really don't like Amazon. I try everything I can not to buy from them, sort of like Chinese goods or Walmart. Problem is, at a certain point they are the only ones that have what you need, or the price difference is just olarge. I don't mind paying 10% more to support anyone but Amazon, but in some cases the price difference is closer to 40%. I dislike amazon but no point in cutting off your nose just to spite your face. Thanks again for the offer.

There is a fairly decent selection of items on special at North Pro sports in Saskaoon. Bows, rifles, shotguns and optics. Picked up a couple of Leupold VX-Freedom scopes with CDS dials for under $400

Hope yours ejects shells better then mine. On a good note I sent them the bolt and they took care of it. The gun is an absolute laser. Bar none the most accurate gun I own.

I was able to get thru their on line system and "purchase" two scopes, c/w invoices and shipping costs. Got a sheepish phone call early the next morning...computer pricing f up.

Altitude Sports has a sister website where they clear out last season's merchandise and limited stock. It is called thelasthunt dot com. As a minimum the discount will be 40% with coupons giving more than 50%. Brand names like North Face, Patagonia, and Mountain Hardwear regularly appear. I buy most of my outdoor jackets and fleece clothing there. There are very limited sizes and the good stuff will sell out in days.
