Default Fierce TI EDGE

Hey Boys. Been reading the Forum for years so I thought I’d finally join. Any of you Gentlemen have or used the TI EDGE ? Or any Edge models ? Would appreciate your 2 cents on whether they’re any good. I just want a nice all weather rig that’ll last me 20-30 years. Cheers!

I too am considering a new Fierce but I can say my Sako 75 rifles SS and Greywolf models have stood the test of time and the elements. A couple since 1997. Still shoot tight groups

Hey Mark,

Are they as lightweight as advertised ? And are they worth the rather large price tag ?

It depends on the caliber that your looking at
I have a ct 338 lapua. Bigger action, heavier profile barrel etc it’s heavier than the advertised weight. Still I think it’s under 7lbs though
I’ve had 4 CT’s. They all shoot very well.

I would also consider the Christensen Ridgeline, the same weight, and over $1000 less.

Thanks Mark and Elk. 280 AI is what I’m after. I would probably take the Edge over the Ridgeline solely because they build them up here. Kinda cool I guess. Mark if you were to do it over would you go the custom route or is the Edge pretty close to it ?

I think I would go full custom If I did it again
I would get a lone peak razor titanium action or even a Gunwerks titanium action
A bunch of prefit Benchmark or hell canyon barrels
Put it in a Gunwerks stock
Pick your bottom metal
Box and Andy trigger

1 action, 1 stock, 1 trigger, 1 scope, 1 rail
Unlimited calibers and options

Thanks for the input Mark. And great shooting ! I’ll definitely go handle a Fierce before ordering one. Would you go through Corlanes for a custom job ?

There’s so many guys in Alberta that do good work
Could probably start a new thread just asking for peoples input on that.
If you want to handle a couple different fierce rifles
I live in Edmonton

I have a fierce Ti edge that weights 6.6 pounds and a carbon fury that is 6.9 pounds. I haven’t taken them out shorting yet but I like the fit and finish of both. And the half moa guarantee is a nice bonus. I too loved the fact they were made in Canada.

Quebec doesn’t count as part of Canada

Agreed! And that's one of the main reasons that I bought mine...

Hahaha I do actually agree but none the less the side of the barrel does say made in Canada. Just have to forget that it is Quebec.

That is reason enough for me to never own a fierce.
