Default What's made you feel old lately?

What has reminded you of how fast time has gone by lately?

-I Found out that the Twoonie turns Twenty in February.

-I heard marijuana on the radio uncensored and realised that Wal mart used to have special copies of cds and tapes to blur it and other now common words out

-In a January it will be a decade since we all got our Ralph Bucks! ($400 "prosperity bonus"

I have to be a lot more careful now when releasing a fart. 20 years ago I was sure a fart would be the only thing coming out....

Walked through a foot of snow for 3 hours. Now I'm sore. Didn't happen years ago

31 years old and seeing these damn grey hairs pop out above my ears. But I guess it's better above the ears than in the ears.

had to call for help this year to get a buck up a slope that shouldn't have been a big deal - it wasn't for the young fellas!

I made a comment today about something being from the 1800s, and one of my darling students said"that's when you were 23, right Mr. A?"

Every time I go through my collection of cassette tapes, LP's and 8-tracks... I should start pitching some of that stuff.

Wife and kids won't let me listen to it with them around...

snuck up on a decent buck 30-40 yards away and watched him for a couple of minutes and at the same time trying to make a decision to harvest the buck or not, he finally realized I was there but didn't care, he looked like he was going down hill and his eyes looked very tired (he looked very old), pretty much the way I felt and probably looked after the long hike and many years hunting, I couldn't bring myself to harvest the buck but found myself kind of in awe as to what he has been through to survive and what he has seen in his time in the bush from a spiker to the decent old buck he is.

There is a big market for lp's and tapes. You just have to find the right people. There's a company making new LPs for folks wanting the original sound that you can't get cd/dvd/mp3

Recent trip to a phone store:

Cute gal starts to ask questions as to what I want, then pauses and says,
"Oh ...you just want one to make a phone call...." , then gets me one from
the back storage room.

5 minutes later I am in a line up paying for my phone. Everyone's bill is over $500....and my cost was $47.00

He shot his first WT Deer with first shot at the large game...HE IS 69 !!!

I was youngest in my current Elk camp at...60.
