Some things to think about before you do this, I had done similar things when I was a young buck.

- Is it a spot you plan to hunt frequently, as in perhaps the entire season?

- Stands like this often require pounding spikes into trees, which damages the tree.

- Over the long term wooden stands made from non treated lumber rot and fall apart.

- Is it on public or private land? On public land you are required to remove your stands after the season.

My advice is get a good climber or ladder/chain stand. Easy to move if you aren't happy with your spot, no damage to the tree.

Default stand

For rifle hunting where your shots are farther out that would work. But for bowhunting your success would be much higher between 15ft and 20ft. I'm sure someones going to say they bowhunt at ten feet. Sitting on the ground in a blind would be better than bowhunting this low for being concealed. Also there's a few places that sell steel ladder stands for under $100 that are 15ft tall.
