From what I can see in your picture, you have yourself a coyote.

Wow, not really sure.
The colouring says coyote but you're right, the white spot on the tail and short face are suspect.
I'd let F&W know, I'll bet they'd be curious

It was travelling with a red fox.... the fox was smaller, and very playful jumping around this one... Hope to get the fox tomorrow if he is still hanging around the same area... seen him almost every day, first time we saw this one..

A coyote for sure .No fox involved in his DNA.Looks like a curious playful pup , an older dog wouldn't have been traveling with a fox , he'd have been trying to eat him Nice looking hide .

Hmmm
Head says Coyote, tail says Fox. Not a cross fox. I would like a closer look at that one.

It's a coyote, not unusual for a coyote to have some red in their fur from time to time.

100% coyote I have trapped ones just like it. Coyotes can really vary in colour I have caught coyotes from dark grey to all most blond.
Fox will be more slender and smaller. As far as I know coyotes and fox do not cross breed do to too much of a difference in DNA. I maybe wrong but this is what I have been told.

They have a different number of chromosomes so cross breeding is not possible. 100% yote.

Coyote....white tipped tail is fairly common. The white tipped tail yotes are refered to as "2-pointers" in competitions. I shoot a several every year with white tipped tails.
This is nothing but a young yote

you would have as much luck breeding a cougar to a coyote as you would a fox to yote.
Its a coyote.

Nope. Coyotes don't have white tail tips, face doesn't fit either. Fox variation . Make a nice pelt.
