Default Maxima fluorocarbon leader

I’ve always been a fan of maxima mono and pretty much grew up with it, my father swore by the Chameleon and fished it exclusively on his Ambassadeur penn reel guiding for steelhead. That said I picked up some of their 20lb fluorocarbon to tie up some spinner rigs and the knots sinched up amazing with zero stretch, very impressed! That said I’ve cycled though a lot of floro, some of the best brands had me adding a drop of crazyglue on the knots and I never felt the need this go around. Give the stuff a go if your tying up some leaders.

Agreed! I use it for fly fishing and definitely prefer it over your standard tippet. Super durable and great knot strength.
