BC Turkey Hunting

Just got back from a couple days of turkey hunting and fishing in BC. Was able to get a Jake on my first morning.

17 HMR. Had the decoys and shotgun all setup but they wouldn't come closer than 100 yards. So out came the 17

In Fernie last week gas was 1.29.......................same as most places in S AB. Could have been an oddball day? You don't have to go West very far in BC to come into turkeys.

Body shot. Fishing wasn't so hot, not a single bite in the stocked lake we were fishing. But I did get a nice sunburn on my arms haha
