You need a special licence to shoot a doe....you have to put in for the draw. There is a little black square in front of the dates in the regulations for anterless whitetails in 156.
General tag for buck only.

Please read what the black squares are for in the regulations

Way I read it is from Nov. 27-30th you are good for "antlered" white tail in WMU 152.

Look up the definition of antlered in the regs because you can NOT shoot an antler-less white tail during the same time (black square indicates is on a draw only).

You gotta make the effort to spend the time to read these fully, understand them and ask for help if needed.

There is more to know than can I shoot one in this WMu?

Not without a special license. Antlered only with a general tag. A bit late to be figuring this out eh?

still better to ask and be belittled a little here.......then try to explain a problem to a C.O ! Yes more people should completely read and understand all the regs, but honest question should get an honest answer ! Thanks to the guys that did give you the correct answer. Good luck !

NO you will need a rifle for that. The license only makes it legal.

Sorry, I eat my Wheaties this morning.

Actually, it's a good question.

What I was told is, if it says antlered, it means only antlered, if it says antlerless it means only antlerless. But if it says general it means any of that species. Buck Doe, antlered or antlerless.

And I learned something new in that process. It seems that Does can sometimes have antlers. I had no idea.
