Default Urgent . . . Koocanusa Info Needed ASAP

We were just invited to spend 5 days on a houseboat on Koocanusa.

Normally I could get all of the info I need myself, but we leave Monday at 7 in the morning and I've got sooooo much to do in the next day and a half!

I know that BC non-resident licenses are $36 for 8 days. Can we buy those at the lake somewhere?

What is the best gear to have? What fish are in the lake? Where can I read the regs for BC, and any regs that are specific for Koocanusa? I don't think we can use treble hooks in BC, can we?

The other half doesn't seem to think a 5 hour drive with a baby is too far for a free houseboat vacation with his sister.

Thanks, Sundacefisher. I did phone the fly shop in Blairmore to confirm, and the gent I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant.

Then I was told we won't be passing through Blairmore by my other-half.

I did find out that the houseboat company does sell BC fishing licenses, so I hope they've got copies of the regs, too.
