Default Truck got broken into last night

So left the hotel this AM.... got to the truck.

Oops... left it unlocked. And low and behold. It got rifled through.

But funny thing is, they didn’t take anything. Not my $15 sun glasses, my week old bannock that I had in the back. My tackle box ( they opened it but didn’t dump it), one of my hunting knives, my Mickey of Crown, my 5$ in loonies in my ash tray..... my baseball cap, various shotgun shell, 308 rounds....socks, tire iron, etc)

So what the hell were they looking for?

Or is my stuff that crappy that thieves won’t touch it....

Wierd man.

That sucks. I know the feeling.

Did you have a garage door opener in there?

Default The crown jewel.

Portable ash try.
It’s a very high commodity these days.

They were probably interrupted mid theft.

I’d have to have a garage.....

No portable ash tray....

I dunno. Wifey thinks someone slept in it.

Left mine unlocked a couple years ago, they helped themselves. They traded me a cigarette butt for my empty pack of smokes, two dollars in change and a tin of breath mints.

At $1 a pop at a pawn shop, there were enough CDs in there to buy an 8-ball of crack but I guess they weren't interested in Garth Brooks and Merle Haggard.

Judging by this thread maybe you are better off to throw a club on your truck and leave it unlocked. Better than paying for a broken window.

Thieving rings might have only taken your address out of the truck too. They know you aren't home so they could enroute to your house.

Years ago I had an expensive stereo stolen from my car.
Thieves used a slim jim to get in, so no damage to the car and instead of ripping the unit out of the dash they used tools to properly remove it...not a scratch on the dash.
To top it off...they locked the doors when they were finished. I appreciated that
