My take on this is that Trump inherited a big mess from previous government that did nothing, allowing N Korea to establish a nuclear program. Anyone that thinks the possibility of nuclear war isn't real has their head buried in the sand. This could easily escalate. Look at Russia and their intent to expand. It wasn't nuclear but was & still is very real. No one thought WWII would happen. Guess they were wrong. The States didn't think they would ever be attacked. Guess they were wrong.

At least Trump is dealing with the situation, where everyone else has kicked the can down the road, now look at the mess? Obama spent his terms delivering heart warming speeches, a lot like our leader, while all these issues were festering in the background. They are unpopular, difficult issues to deal with, so he turned a blind eye to them, left them for the next guy to deal with. Having a stern chat with these dictators doesn't work as we have seen, not sure what the answer is to resolve it now that it has become a huge, dangerous problem for humanity. He knows a hell of a lot more about the capabilities of NK and the capabilities of the US than anyone on this forum. Trump is a 'do er', and he will resolve this one way or another, people aren't used to seeing someone actually do what they say in politics, which puts him on uncharted ground.

Everyone inherits the package of their predecessor so using that to justify their difficulty of is lame. Trump applied for the job, got it... get on with it! It’s like trying to explain stinky feet by explaining your ex didn’t wash your socks.

Im willing to bet that at least he has an effective plan in place to protect Americans and to efficiently and effectively retaliate. He seems fairly proactive in those departments, whereas I doubt Hillary would good for much except affirmative action policies in all aspects of this situation.

Have you not been paying attention? Markets in the US are at a record high, unemployment is the lowest its been since the great depression. The list goes on. Love em, hate em. Reminds me of ralph klein people hate for doing exactly what he said he was going to do.

Would tradr him in a second for the clown we have running the show in canada.

Not scary, at least in the way you intend. LOL My mother taught me early not to argue with a crazy person. The Donald apparently never learned that. I bet he could go "I know you are, you said you are, but what am I?" for hours....

The question was what has he done?

The media and the Democrats have been trying to get Trump on anything they can and have so far failed. In Canada one old lady nails Trudeau for breaking 4 ethics laws. I’m not worried about a red button.

Ok... so its au natural? All the positives are flukes, have nothing to do with him? And let me guess all the bad is directly linked to him and his admin?

Look i agree be can be an idiot. Should really have some "watchmen" when it comes to opening his mouth or tweeting. But from what i can tell, since november the us has become alot better place to be. Moreso for it,s citizens... again exactly what he said he would do.

Very little actually. He clearly spends too much time on Twitter. LOL Has a majority in both houses and all he's passed of import in a year is the tax bill.

Exactly, and that one is a cluster of such proportions that it will add trillions, not billions, to the debt.

What a conservative, no?

Remember, everything in North Korea is highly censored by the state so who really KNOWS what capability they have. Hell they keep executing high officials and others are defecting left and right so that has to say something about the state of affairs in the government.

While I can't predict the future, I doubt the USA would ever launch first, the global outcry would be too great. (And yes even though we did in WWII it was a different time with different circumstances and in the grand scheme of things our knowledge of these weapons was much more limited then it is now). Even if North Korea launched, I don't see a retaliatory nuclear strike. Everyone would ostracize North Korea including their allies. For a country that is in as bad a shape they are, they can't afford to take that chance. North Korea just seems to be run by a school yard bully who has always puffed his chest and gotten his way.
