Default Garmin Fenix 3 watch?

Wondering if anyone on here uses a Garmin Fenix 3 watch? Just ordered one with a bunch of points. Looks to have a bunch of cool features for the active Outdoorsman.

I have a forerunner 230 and I quite like it. I've been tracking my runs and bike rides with it. the Fenix 3 just has a few more features than mine has. I've heard mixed results about Garmins heart rate monitors on their watches though. Mine doesn't have one and the version with the HRM got not so great reviews on the HRM.

The one I ordered has the sapphire glass and no HRM.

From my understanding it's really similar to SuuntoAmbit3 peak or vertical for that matter. But you'll have a nice colour display and better battery life than my vertical. Awesome awesome piece of kit for tracking performance activities. Trail running etc. But I hear they're really customizable for lots of activities.
What are you planning to use it for primarily?

Looking to use it for skiing, hiking, kayaking. Not much of a runner. Liked the barometer and compass and ability to lay a breadcrumb trail. Hoping to get it in a couple weeks and start playing with it.

It will definitely do all of that for you. With the potential to do so much more, once you dig in you'll find so many uses.

Does anyone have a Fenix 5? I wondering if it can be tracked or at least viewed from a remote user? Thanks
