Kosmo's is popular. Royal pizza makes a good pizza.

Kosmos caesar salad is awesome.
Everything they make is really good, but I found the caesar salad to be remarkable.

Depends on your taste in Mexican. We didn’t mind it, but it’s not what I would call authentic. Funny story, we went there on May 5 a couple years ago and we were surprised to see no decorations or anything up for Cinco de Mayo, so we queried the server. She said they had thought about it, but decided against it. My wife commented something a long the lines of that they probably didn’t get a lot of local Mexican customers anyways as those who were in the area probably just had a more family oriented authentic celebration at home, and the waitress answered “Oh no, they would come here for sure”, my wife says well in all honesty it didn’t seem all that authentic (I’m paraphrasing, it sounds rude but actually it was just a pleasant conversation), but the reply was hilarious. “Oh, this is very authentic, the owners are from Ecuador”. 😂😂
Our go to if we feel like Mexican is Tres Amigos in south Edmonton, just south of the Whitemud and west of Calgary Trail a few blocks.

For Leduc, as mentioned Kosmos is pretty good and Royal Pizza for a good pizza. Another place we had overlooked for many years, but on a recommendation tried out a couple years ago and have made it a regular stop, is Zambellis by the Safeway on 50th. Very good pizza that rivals Royal now as my favourite, and lots of other good choices as well. Family run I believe, the servers are always super friendly.

The Wyndham hotel by the airport has a decent BBQ.

Mexican, Ecuadorian... That's the same thing right?
No, not super authentic although I thought a few dishes were reasonable facsimiles. Overall pretty decent quality, though it's tough to match anything in the city.
Had no idea about the owners though. Kind of too bad that they don't throw an Ecuadorian dish or two onto the menu.

We haven’t had a bad meal there to be honest, and like you say it is a reasonable facsimile. The quality of the food seems fine to me, and service is good as well.
